Week of September 21-25

Last Thursday we had our Science Test for Lesson 1 and Friday we made an activity to introduce Changes in Matter which is lesson 2 (Pages E-14 /E-19)
Students are to turn in a Report for Lab Activity which should cover each point included in the Rubric handed to them before developing the activity.

Vocabulary

solid
liquid
gas
evaporation
condensation

Pages E-14/E-17 will be covered by Read Aloud and Interactive writing and for page E-18 Melting and Boiling Points students will be using Reciprocal Teaching so they will be working in groups to read, summarize and prepare a poster with relevant data.

Thursday we will have another lab Activity.

Friday September 25 will be our Test for lesson 2. Students may study from their binder and the study guide they completed during our break, as well as from the notes taken during class.
