Week as of October 26th to October 30th
We will have a test tomorrow which includes the following vocabulary:
nucleus
proton
neutron
electron
element
atom
molecule
periodic table
compound
Students should re-read pages E-38 /E-43 and study from their NB and binder, as well as to be able to identify the partos of an Atom.
To review complete the Atoms Family Album and the Song
I will check it tommorow.
Today we began working in the Adopt-An-Element Project. We will continue tomorrow after the test.
Thurday students will be making an oral presentation.
They will use the poster they made as a backup.

We will be cnducting a Science Activity relatid with Graphing Elements.
Students need to present the Lab Activity Report for this next Tuesday, November 2nd. Rubric will be provided.
Material for Lesson 2 will be given out.

In your notebook you are to elaborate a chart that contains the sic elements we discussed today in class. The chart should include elements name, kind of element, properties of element, and how is it used.

Rubric: Copy needs to be printed and included 5 Pts.
Materials: Students are to mention the objects they place inside .
their Mystery Box and the tools used to infer as they develped the activity.15 Pts

We will be finishing the Science Activity realted with Chemical Properties Pages E-20/ E-21 that we began Friday.
Students will need to turn in the Final Activity Report Thursday October 15th.
This week we will begin Chapter 2 which is realted with Atoms and Elements

Studets are to prepare their flashcards for the vocavulary. Each card should include Vocabulary Word and Definition at the front. Drawing a the back (they may use a cut out instead)
Vocabulary cards will be checked Friday.
Tests for this lesson is October Wednesday 21st.
