Proceed to read the following and answer:

Lisa is working on a science project. Her task is to answer the question " Does Rogooti (which is a commercial hair product) affect the speed of hair growth". Her family is willing to volunteer for the experiment.

Describe how Lisa would perform this experiment. Identify the control group, and the independent and dependent variables in your description.

Week as of December 14 to Decmber

We will be reviewing the Key termns that we have covered during this section. We will also be practicing to identify the parts of an experiment by reading several examples.
Please keep in mind that our test which includes the Key termns and identifying experiment parts will be Thursday, December 17th .
H.W. You may turn in the two pending Lab Reports Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.

Week a of Decmeber 7th to December 11th

During the following two days we will be conducting the lifeboat Inspection Activity.

• Students will be creating their own boats.
• Learning how to measure capacity.
• Reinforcing Key Terms
• Conducting activity using the Scientific Method
• Displaying Observations in graphs (They will be connecting with Math beacuse we will be working with the Mean/Average)
• Then they need to work their report during class due date December 15th.

They need to be making their observations to the Experiment they prepared las Friday. Today only 3 groups out of 6 came to the class, they need to keep in mind that the final report needs to be turned in by December 18th, in case they are traveling it needs to be turned in prior to our break.

Practical test will be given next Tuesday, December 15th. 3 Experiments will be detailed and students need to be able to identify its parts.
